Podcast: Discrimination arising from disability; and sex discrimination

On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss the employment tribunal decisions in McGraw v London Ambulance Service NHS Trust ET/3301685/11 and Williams v Ystrad Mynach College ET/1600019/11, which are both useful early examples of how tribunals are approaching the new concept of "discrimination arising from disability" in the Equality Act 2010. We also discuss the Employment Appeal Tribunal decision in Warby v Wunda Group plc EAT/0434/11, in which it held that "context is everything" in determining whether or not words complained of constitute discrimination.

Presenter Jeya Thiruchelvam is joined by Stephen Simpson and John Read. Edited and produced by Bar Huberman.
